Convicted gunmen James Holmes and Dexter Lewis are going to spend the rest of their lives in Prison, rather than face execution, after separate juries declined to sentence them to death this summer for their crimes. That outcome has prompted many involved in government and the justice system to ask whether the death penalty has a future in Colorado? Prosecutors are divided, as are lawmakers.
