Firefighters are working to stop a wildfire that forced the evacuation of some homes in northern Larimer County.

The Beartrap Fire is burning near Crystal Lakes northwest of Livermore. The fire had burned about 20 acres as of Wednesday night but no structures were damaged.

County officials say the fire was less active overnight and is 60 percent contained. More resources are expected to arrive Thursday to fight the fire.

It's not clear how many people were evacuated. The Red Cross says 12 people stayed at a shelter overnight.
