Small Black, ‘Boys Life’

Brooklyn synth-pop band Small Black released their third album, "Best Blues," last week.

Singer Josh Hayden Kolenik took inspiration from photographs he rescued from his family's Long Island home in the wake of flooding from Hurricane Sandy.

The single "Boys Life" is based on a lost demo the band re-discovered while jamming in their cabin studio.

Small Black performs at Larimer Lounge on Oct. 31. Download "Boys Life" via the link above.
