The latest S&P Case Shiller home price index shows steadily rising single-family home prices in Denver since January 2012.
Condo prices are rising even faster. A recent Zillow report shows condo prices in metro Denver grew by a whopping 20 percent, the second-fastest rate in the country.
In the end, the reasons for the price spikes are similar. New home and condo construction remain at depressed levels in one of the fastest-growing regions in the county.
