Tech Problems Ground Southwest Airlines Planes At DIA

Southwest Airlines are on a ground stop at Denver International Airport. An airport spokesman says workers at the airline’s ticket counters cannot print tickets.

That's lead to long lines in the airport:

Southwest tweeted that “check-in” is down system wide due to a technical issue. Officials aren't sure how long it will take to fix the problem. Southwest plans to post updates here.

A spokeswoman for the Dallas-based airline says systems are gradually coming back but it may take time before the airline resumes normal operations.
