Dude York's sophomore album "Sincerely" is the band's most confident work to date. That's partly because the Seattle trio recorded it twice: Once as a self-produced house recording and again in a professional studio. The band released the latter effort last month.
Bassist Claire England sings lead vocals on the single "Love Is" -- something she hadn't done on 2014's "Dehumanize." The band's crunchy guitar rhythms and choruses are as strong as ever as England bemoans a failed romance -- and love as a whole.
Dude York performs April 5 at Hi-Dive.
