Japanese Breakfast visited the CPR Performance Studio in June before a show at Denver's Larimer Lounge. Zauner and her band played three songs from the new LP and spoke with Jeremy Petersen about how she initially hadn't planned on making a second Japanese Breakfast album and how the program to colonize Mars influenced the record.
