Langhorne Slim had a breakout record with 2015's "The Spirit Moves." It landed the Pennsylvania singer-songwriter and his band The Law several late night TV appearances and a song in a Coke commercial.
But Slim didn't want to replicate the country-rock of that record for his next LP. Billed as a solo record, "Lost At Last, Vol. 1" has a sparse folk sound that allows plenty of room for Slim's lyrics to stand out. On the single "Zombie," those lyrics liken a new lover to the undead.
