Fever Ray: ‘To The Moon And Back’

Karin Dreijer released her exceptional and occasionally frightening self-titled debut album as Fever Ray in 2009. The Swedish singer soon switched her focus back to The Knife, her acclaimed electronica band with brother Olof. That group put out two more albums before ending in 2014.

Nearly nine years after "Fever Ray," Karin surprised fans last month with the new single "To The Moon And Back" and the full album "Plunge" just a week later. The song shows a more buoyant electro-pop side of Dreijer's solo project, but the dark undertones of her previous work remain.
