Karen O has been the fiery frontwoman of Yeah Yeah Yeahs for nearly two decades. In that span of time she's also found success writing for film soundtracks. Her credits include the Spike Jonze films "Where The Wild Things Are" and "Her," the latter of which earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song.
Last month the singer released the single "YO! MY SAINT," which she wrote for a short promotional film for the French fashion house Kenzo. The song is a duet with English soul artist Michael Kiwanuka, who provides a peaceful counter to O's increasingly urgent vocals. It also features a sequence of tempo changes that adds a dramatic quality to the music.
