Denver's Anna Morsett has performed as The Still Tide across the country since 2013. Now, with a new EP on the way and proper label backing, she is on the verge of a busy 2020.
Morsett is reminiscent of the laid back cool of Jenny Lewis when she sings; alongside her six-string mastery a la Tash Sultana. “Between Skies” is a collection that showcases her indie-pop love songs and extraordinary guitar playing!
Her new music video for the upbeat “Keep It” shows off the playful side of the musician, who also is a guitar tech for artists such as Kaki King and the Tallest Man On Earth. The hopeful lyrics are about loving someone even if the relationship has reached its end.
The Still Tide will celebrate the album release in January with shows on both coasts and a hometown celebration:
- Jan. 9, 2020 — New York, New York @ Rockwood Music Hall Stage 1
- Jan. 17, 2020 — Denver, Colorado @ Hi-Dive
- Jan. 22, 2020 — Los Angeles, California @ Gold Diggers
The new EP “Between Skies” drops the same day as the Hi-Dive show on mod y vi Records.
