Colorado Snowstorm Could Mess Up Thanksgiving Travel

Heavy snow is likely Monday night into Tuesday. The heaviest snow is expected to start in the mountains late Monday afternoon, and spread to Denver and northeast Colorado. A foot of accumulation is possible north of I-70.

The National Weather Service says, "There is a chance that travel could become impossible in the Denver area Tuesday morning."

CDOT is warning people traveling early for Thanksgiving to double check their plans and prepare for disruptions on Monday and Tuesday.

The National Weather Service expects the snow to end during the day on Tuesday.
