Video: Polis Shocked By Report Federal COVID-19 Vaccine Reserve Doesn’t Exist

Colorado officials were expecting a one-time shipment of more than 200,000 COVID-19 vaccines from a federal stockpile this week. Gov. Jared Polis says the reserve doesn't exist.

"Today, I come before you extremely disappointed that we were lied to with plans of the administration to release reserve doses that were to be the second doses of the vaccine," Polis said in his Friday briefing about the state's coronavirus response.

The Washington Post reported that federal officials announced the release of the reserve, but those doses were already distributed in December.

Note: The governor's briefings don't always start on time.
