Alisha Sweeney sat down with Colorado native and writer/ producer/ director David Higgins to talk about his film The Aviation Cocktail. The film has only been screened in Denver a few times but will open for a full week run at the SIE Film Center on April 26th.

Just in his early 20s, Colorado artist Patrick Dethlefs won the Best Teen Songwriter Award (2009) at Swallow Hill Music—one of the largest non-profit organizations in the U.S. dedicated to developing folk and acoustic music. Now he’s released a new video for the song “Done & Done” that appears on his new album Fall and Rise that was out in June of 2012.
