Lauren Gamba

Senior Vice President, Communications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in international relations and government from Claremont McKenna College; master’s degree in communications, culture and technology from Georgetown University.

Professional background:
Since joining Colorado Public Radio in 2012, Lauren has worked in the areas of public relations, communications, marketing and listener services. She was named vice president of communications in June 2016.

Prior to coming to CPR, Lauren worked in the public relations field for Linhart Public Relations in Denver and APCO Worldwide and Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide in Washington, D.C. With a background in international relations and government, Lauren also worked for the Keck Center for International and Strategic Studies.

Awards:
In 2005, Lauren received a competitive grant award from the Freeman Foundation for research on media and economic reforms in Russia and China.
