“What We Lose When We Lose Local News,” sponsored and moderated by Colorado Public Radio, is a panel discussion about a documentary about Storm Lake Times, a local publication in Storm Lake, Iowa, and the importance of local news. The panel will feature journalist Art Cullen and Jerry Risius, co-director/Director of Photography of “Storm Lake,” and is moderated by Monica Castillo.
