About You:

You are developing your skills in journalism, whether through coursework, work at a student paper, freelance projects, internships, or independent efforts. You understand the core ethics and principles of journalism and have a strong interest in working on local news.

While we will develop this further in the internship, you should be able to produce clear, concise, and grammatically correct work. Finally, the ability to be flexible and adapt to sudden changes is key as we respond to breaking news and changing daily or weekly priorities. As such, you’re good at organizing your time to stay on deadline.
