Colorado Public Radio (CPR) is seeking a Marketing Manager.
About the Position:
The Marketing Manager will execute strategic marketing and communications that grow audiences, increase awareness of CPR services, and support fundraising efforts. You will ensure our brand is cohesive and compelling across all touchpoints while leading two key internal teams - Audience Services and Creative Services. Both teams are on the front lines of public engagement. Their work encompasses direct listener communication, customer service, graphic design, brand development and the creation of marketing assets for both internal and external use. You’ll play a key management role in the organization while leading strong marketing strategy, implementation, and analysis.
The new hire is expected to reside in the greater Denver metro area upon starting - this is not a remote position, however a hybrid schedule is available that requires a minimum of 3 days in the office each week.
About You:
You are a strategic storyteller and marketing leader who thrives on brand consistency and creative collaboration. You are an excellent communicator with strong copywriting and editing skills who enjoys writing clear and compelling content across platforms and brand voices. You are organized and detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. You are experienced in leading teams and enjoy helping others succeed. You are energized by mission-driven work and excited to support audience growth, fundraising efforts, and public engagement through impactful marketing. You’re comfortable managing complex projects, giving and receiving feedback, and working cross-functionally with teams across an organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in creating and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, copywriting and editing in AP style, and guiding brand management and creative production workflows.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in directly managing staff and their performance.
- Experience working cross functionally to support internal stakeholders and external marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency with content creation and editing software (such as Adobe Creative Suite), content management systems (such as Wordpress), customer relationship management systems (such as Salesforce), and email marketing tools (such as Pardot).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and project management skills.
- Excellent critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills.
Education Equivalency:
- A fully relatable bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree may replace some of the required years of experience.
