Colorado Treasurer Race 2018: Brian Watson And Dave Young On The Issues

The Republican nominee for treasurer is Brian Watson, a businessman with roots on the Western Slope. Watson is the CEO and founder of Northstar Commercial Partners, based in Denver. His opponent is Dave Young, a Democrat from the state legislature who currently represents District 50. Young is also a college instructor.

Colorado's current treasurer, Republican Walker Stapleton, is running for governor. The state treasurer oversees the treasury, the treasury department and the state's finances.
