Are air pollution and our environment making us sicker? Studies now underway are exploring potential links between pollutants that enter the body and autism and suicide rates, among other concerns.

In Colorado, there are reports positing that ozone from the Front Range may be creeping up into the mountains; there's also the issue of increased population and increased traffic causing a myriad of health problems.

Dr. Jonathan Samet is the new dean at the Colorado School of Public Health. He spoke with Colorado Matters host Nathan Heffel about those concerns and his work in addressing the connection between the state's environment and health.
