Never Gripe About June Snow Because Now It’s Hot Everywhere In Colorado

Remember when we were in the chill chest and there was summer snow in Colorado? Good times.

Now we’re in the broiler. The National Weather Service describes it as “warming trend” for today, but you can be assured someone has leaned against the state thermostat and accidentally rolled it up to hot.

Fort Collins can expect a high of 94 degrees. Same for Denver. There’s a red flag warning for several counties along the Utah-Colorado border and it’ll be plenty hot today in Grand Junction. Pueblo and a large swath of the Kansas-Colorado border should prepare for the upper 90s today. And the most populous town in Prowers County is the last place you want to be if you like it cold.

Expect 101 degrees today in Lamar.

Think frosty thoughts or better yet go find some June snowshoeing. It’s still out there (but maybe not for long).
