Bully released its second album, "Losing," last October. It's the Nashville band's first LP for the renowned Sub Pop label. The quartet recorded the 12 aggressive punk rock songs at producer Steve Albini's Electrical Audio studio in Chicago, where frontwoman Alicia Bognanno once worked as an intern.

More from OpenAir Sessions:

Bully stopped into the CPR Performance Studio before a show at Denver's Larimer Lounge to play a few songs from "Losing." Bognanno also spoke with Scott Carney about self-producing her records, recording her albums live to tape and how she's become more patient with the band's creative process.

Songs performed:

  • "Either Way"
