From humble beginnings to Colorado superstar, DNA Picasso talks new music and being on the rise

After graduating from college in Nebraska DNA Picasso made a move to Denver after college, mostly guided by his passion for music. An interest in music was sparked while producing as a fun hobby in college. Since then he has cultivated a career in hip-hop by evolving his sound through personal growth and deepening relationships by building community collaborations and working with all sorts of music creatives. His latest album The Color Blü is a compilation that weaves through themes of Blackness, love, and gratitude. The LP was named "Best New Album" by Westword and he's been staying booked and busy ever since. A powerhouse in the Colorado music industry, DNA Picasso is dedicated to his craft and constantly finding ways to get better. Watch as he chats with host Demi Harvey about new music and a special performance of three songs off the new album.
