Martin Courtney of hazy indie rock band Real Estate has had to deal with a lot of changes due to the pandemic: being separated from the band (being apart for over a year), upgrading a home studio, and shifting from live shows to digital. the band has released two compilations while in lockdown "The Main Thing" full LP in 2020 and "Half a Human" EP in March 2021. Courtney gives some advice on longevity to aspiring indie artists reflecting on almost 12 years in the music industry.
