Colorado Public Radio names Jennifer Flatt vice president of marketing

CENTENNIAL, Colo. - July 19, 2011 – Jennifer Flatt has been named Colorado Public Radio's (CPR) new vice president of marketing. Flatt most recently served as director of marketing at CPR.

“Jenny's leadership has been critical in building a strategic marketing focus over the last two years,” said CPR President Max Wycisk. “A comprehensive marketing discipline will be essential as CPR continues to grow within a changing media landscape.”

“I'm looking forward to being part of CPR's commitment to excellence and continuing to build on our standing as a thriving listener-supported news and music institution,” said Flatt.

Since joining Colorado Public Radio in 2004, Flatt has held a primary role in communications and community outreach. As vice president of marketing, Flatt will support CPR's overall business objectives through major marketing initiatives, fund development support, and setting strategic direction for branding, promotion, public and media relations, and key partnerships.

Flatt has been with Colorado Public Radio for nearly eight years and has more than a decade of experience in marketing for non-profit organizations. She began her career at the Florida Orchestra in Tampa and after moving to Denver spent three years working in marketing and development at The Colorado Symphony.

Flatt received a bachelor's degree in art history from Vassar College.
