Patricia Prevost returns to Colorado Public Radio as development leader

CENTENNIAL, Colo. - Nov. 3, 2010 – Colorado Public Radio (CPR) hired Patricia Prevost as director of network partner programs.

“We're pleased to welcome Patty back to CPR, said Sue Coughlin, CPR's vice president of development. “With her prior experience in development and underwriting at CPR and past success in fundraising, she will be a great asset to our major gifts department and the organization overall.”

Prevost previously worked at Colorado Public Radio as vice president of development from 1992-2000 and beforehand as underwriting manager and underwriting associate.

In her most recent position at WRTI-FM, a classical music and jazz station in Philadelphia, Pa., she raised the average gift and overall number of donors, launched a vehicle donation program, and led re-branding efforts.

“Network partners provide critical support for CPR's statewide news, information, and classical music programming,” said Coughlin. “Patty's proven fundraising abilities will be essential to sustaining and increasing the number of people who support CPR as network partners with donations of $1,200 or more per year.”

In addition to her most recent role as director of development and communications at WRTI-FM, Prevost has managed marketing for Vanguard Charitable Endowment Program, led development efforts for the Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation, and worked as an independent fundraising consultant for various nonprofit organizations.

Colorado Public Radio is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides 24-hour, in-depth news and classical music to nearly 470,000 listeners each week (Source: Arbitron, Spring / Fall 2010).
