Across the country, there are more than 7,500 chapters of the VFW -- Veterans of Foreign Wars. The very first, Post 1, is in Denver. It was founded in December, 1899 by veterans of the Spanish American War and subsequent Philippine-American War. Adam Morgan is writing a book about the post. He’s a veteran of the first Iraq war and a major in the Colorado National Guard. Morgan spoke with Ryan Warner.
