Today it’s a popular destination for dinner out, for people watching, and for shopping. But 16th Street in Denver started as a dirt road with just a few scattered buildings. You can see what it looked like back in 1867 in the new book simply titled “Denver’s 16th Street.” The author, Mark Barnhouse, dug through archives, searched eBay, and even met with an collector of old postcards to gather images for the book.
