Boulder’s Bobo’s Goes From Humble Start To Big Presence In Nutrition Bars

When you start a business, you hope it'll make money, maybe even make money fast. That was not the case for a Colorado brand you see all over: Bobo's oat bars, in Boulder. Founder Beryl Stafford was a single mom struggling to make ends meet when she started Bobo's 15 years ago. Now her company is in a lot of major grocery chains. "This is how I did it in my kitchen, and instead of four pans I have like 4,000 of them now," she told Colorado Matters during a recent tour of her plant. We spoke with her about her start and her success as part of our Disruptors series on entrepreneurs.
