Last year, Clint Irwin considered quitting soccer. He was playing for a minor league team in his home state of North Carolina, and had been trying to go pro for years, but just couldn’t break through. He worked two part-time jobs in addition to playing soccer just to get by. When one of them offered him a full-time position, he had to make a tough choice, between quitting the game he loved or going all-in to try to make a major league team. In a conversation with CPR's Ryan Warner, Irwin looks back on the decision and the hard days playing in the minor leagues. Irwin also talks about playing with the Rapids now, and the team's prospects for making the playoffs in 2013.
