Sen. John McCain was eulogized Thursday as a "true American hero" — and a terrible driver with a wicked sense of humor and love of a good battle — at a crowded church service for the maverick politician that ended with the playing of Frank Sinatra's "My Way."
McCain's body will next lie in state at the U.S. Capitol before being laid to rest Sunday at the Naval Academy cemetery in Maryland. A former Senate colleague of McCain's, Democrat Ken Salazar, of Colorado, who also served as Secretary of the Interior, spoke with Colorado Matters about his memories of McCain.
