We'll introduce you to a treatment for depression that's really only begun to catch on. Patients in the state will have better access to it now that The Depression Center at the University Colorado Denver has begun to offer it. The procedure is called Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation or TMS. It's for patients who have chronic depression and don't respond well to anti-depressants. TMS uses a magnetic coil to stimulate parts of the brain that control emotions. Dr. Neil Weiner runs the TMS program at the Depression Center. He speaks with Ryan Warner.
