Anthony DeHerrera says he’s been waiting for justice. A year and a half ago, Denver police hit his son, Michael, and threw him to the ground. It was all caught on police video cameras. The Denver Police Department re-opened an investigation into whether officers used excessive force. It’s not finished yet, and the department won’t talk about it or say when it will be completed. Anthony DeHerrera doesn’t just look at this case as a father. He’s also a Sheriff’s Deputy in Pueblo. He says he watches that video of his son every day.
