Less TV Time: Colorado Rules For Child Care Centers Take Effect
Health advocates say new rules for Colorado child care centers will help the address myriad problems faced by children, such as obesity. The regulations limit kids' access to TV screens and juice boxes while requiring minimums for physical activity. The Colorado Board of Human Services passed the rules in December. As the rules are set to be implemented next month, some worry there are difficult burdens being placed on the private business.
Healthier Colorado Director Jake Williams spoke to Colorado Matters host Nathan Heffel about the new regulations.
