The Longmont Museum & Cultural Center has transformed into a graveyard. It's part a month-long exhibit, starting Oct. 4, which leads up to a big Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos, celebration on Saturday, Nov. 2.
The exhibit also reflects another tradition of the holiday: Families in the area built altars out of boxes and decorated them with food and fragrant flowers. Ryan Warner speaks with Ann Holley, the museum’s curator of education, to learn why.
