It took a series of deaths and an outside investigation. But now the state psychiatric hospital in Pueblo is making some changes. The facility is called The Colorado Mental Health Institute at Pueblo. And it houses people with serious mental health problems, many of whom have committed crimes. The state asked a third-party to review the hospital’s policies after a patient died in August and after several critical stories by Channel 7’s John Ferrugia. He joins us.
