Four wealthy Democrats-- who didn't like where the state was headed -- were instrumental in changing Colorado from a solidly red state to one that's a lot bluer today. And a new book reveals how they did it. Authors Adam Schrager, who covers politics for 9 news and former GOP state lawmaker Rob Witwer have written "The Blueprint: How the Democrats Won Colorado and Why Republicans Everywhere Should Care." In 2004, Republicans dominated Colorado politics...but a short time later, they were the minority party. That was precisely the goal of these four progressives... informally known as "The Roundtable." They include Rutt Bridges, Tim Gill, Jared Polis, and Pat Stryker. Ryan Warner spoke to Rob Witwer and Adam Schrager.
