The play “Secrets of the Universe and other songs” premieres Friday at the Fox Theater in Aurora. It was written by Marc Acito (right); its musical director is Andrew Fischer (left) and stars Mary Louise Lee (middle).

Imagine two towering figures, two great minds, coming together. To discuss. To debate. To share their feelings. Just imagine the conversation. Marc Acito has. His new play “Secrets of the Universe and Other Songs” is based on the real-life friendship between physicist Albert Einstein and opera singer Marian Anderson. Acito is a veteran of New York stage productions, but when choosing his musical director for "Secrets,"  he turned to a Colorado high school teacher. Andrew Fischer is the Vocal Music and Music Theory teacher for Littleton Public Schools. The play premieres Friday, February 21 at the Fox Theater in Aurora.
