Rock concerts are helping save the lives of people with conditions like leukemia and lymphoma.
A nonprofit organization based in Denver is setting up booths at venues across the country, asking concert-goers to be donors. If they agree, they get a quick cheek swab and, if their swab matches a patient who needs a transplant, a follow-up phone call to arrange the organ donation.
The group called Love, Hope, Strength has been matching donors to recipients for seven years, making 200 matches at Red Rocks Amphitheatre alone.
