A little over two years ago, employees and readers of The Rocky Mountain News learned the newspaper was closing. John Temple was the editor and publisher at the time. He wanted to know what happened to his staff. Did they stay in journalism? Did they go on to make good money? So, Temple recently sent a survey to former newsroom employees. Ryan Warner asked him if there were any surprises in their responses.
