Today, we consider the fallout, and the lessons, from a police encounter in Colorado last year. The police body camera video of Karen Garner's arrest in Loveland has gone viral. The 73-year-old with dementia was injured after being forced to the ground by a police officer and her family is now suing. CPR's Claire Cleveland updates the investigation. Jodi Gragg of Aurora is a former police dispatcher who now helps care for her mother-in-law, who has dementia. Eric Bianchi is a former police officer who trains first responders to interact properly with people with dementia. And Amelia Shafer is executive director of the Alzheimer's Association of Colorado.
