The word “hope” has a lot of meaning for Kenyan native Eunice Kariuki. She founded and runs an orphanage in Kenya for children who’ve lost parents to AIDS. She calls it Tumaini, which is Swahili for hope. Kariuki raised the money for the orphanage from people she met while living in Colorado. But when Kariuki first arrived in this state she was the one in need of help. Kariuki speaks with Ryan Warner.
