It’s a question none of us wants to have to answer. What would we take in an emergency? It’s something people living just west of Boulder have had to consider this week. The Fourmile Canyon fire has forced thousands from their homes. Some had little time to gather their belongings. We asked evacuees what they took as they left their homes. One man took his animals and passport while another evacuee gathered photos and her laptop.
