Imagine spending the summer in blistering heat, digging in the dirt, far from WiFi or hotels. That's the life of fossil hunter, like Anthony Maltese. But Maltese doesn't work for a university or museum. He's with a commercial organization called Triebold Paleontology, Inc. He's also curator of Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center.
Maltese's team recently unearthed what is believed to be a new species of dinosaur. He told Colorado Matters host Ryan Warner about this discovery and about the world of for-profit fossil hunting.
