Colorado is such an outdoorsy state, we often cover stories about athletic victories, like a first ascent or a shattered record. Now, a story about falling short. Boulder explorer Eric Larsen recently had to bail on his bike ride across Antarctica to the South Pole. Larsen often reaches his goals, having successfully compled expeditions to the poles and the summit of Everest. Ryan Warner talks with Eric Larsen about what it’s like to fail.
