The Sand Creek Massacre is the subject of a new exhibit at History Colorado in Denver. But it is not just the story of the more than 200 Arapaho and Cheyenne slain by U.S. government troops in 1864. It is a meditation on the tribes’ history, their cultures, and their present-day lives. Later, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear a Colorado case about public accommodations.
