Denver Arts Week starts Friday November 4th. It's actually nine days of art, music, theater, dance, and hundreds of events around the Denver area. One of them is "A Shared Experience in Art" at the Red Line Gallery near downtown. It's a collaboration between Red Line artists and the dancers of Ballet Nouveau Colorado. BNC's artistic director Garrett Ammon and textiles artist Theresa Clowes talk about roughing up the artwork and getting very close to their audience.

Saturday is "Night at the Museums" with free admission and special events at museums in Denver, Golden, LIttleton, Englewood and elsewhere. Some museums see record attendance during Arts Week events, says Jayne Buck of Visit Denver. She talks with Colorado Public Radio's Mike Lamp about what else is going on for Arts Week, and how people can get exposed to art and artists they haven't seen before.
