Communities devastated by a natural disaster like September’s massive flood in Colorado should hit the pause button.

That’s the advice of Kathleen Tierney, Director of the Natural Hazards Center at the University of Colorado-Boulder. 
She’ll take part in a panel discussion on rebuilding from Colorado’s flooding Thursday night on campus.
She says communities need to give a lot of thought to rebuilding.
