Researchers in southwestern Colorado are hoping to breed elk that are genetically resistant to chronic wasting disease. Laura Carlson speaks with Lee Sommers, director of CSU's Agricultural Experiment Station, who oversees a research facility in Hesperus where scientists are studying a herd of disease-free elk.
