Restorative Justice Program Aims to Keep DPS Kids in School

In 2005, only about half of the seniors in the Denver public school district graduated. One reason: often, when students are suspended or expelled, they stop going to school for good. Now, DPS officials are hoping a major expansion of something called Restorative Justice will keep more kids in school. Restorative Justice requires offenders and victims to sit down together to resolve problems. Ryan Warner talks to Tim Turley, manager of Prevention and Intervention Services for Denver Public Schools.
